These drivers work for many devices, but there are some they can’t detect.Į.g. The 3.x versions also support the recognition of USB 2.0 controllers. The 2.x versions support the recognition of many USB devices. If you want to do that, those are listed in Control Panel – Add/Remove Programs. It used to be flash drives came with Windows 98, and/or, more often, 98SE drivers that you could install, but that’s no longer the case.
